As we enter the 21st century, we at Takenaka Corporation recognize that we must dedicate ourselves to change. We know that in order to maintain our position of leadership as one of the largest design, engineering and construction companies in the world, we must continue to learn; we must continue to grow.

At the same time we realise that there are some things that must remain constant. “A building is not a product, but a Work of Art”. These words spoken by the founder of Takenaka Corporation, continue to guide us today. The commitment to quality that these words represent is something that will never change.

What we seek now are new roles for our proven skills as Planners, Architects, Engineers and Contractors. We welcome new and exciting challenges  by providing solutions for the complex needs of our clients with “value architecture”. Supported by substantial investment in research and  development, improved methods and new technologies are continually being developed to increase efficiency, conserve natural resources and shorten construction times,

yet without sacrificing the quality or safety on which our success is based. Our goal is to design and build lasting works of architecture that are in harmony with their environment, functional and easy to maintain; just as we have done for thousands of satisfied clients   throughout the world, for nearly four hundred years. We will continue to develop our integrated approach to design and construction and remain faithful to our commitment of company-wide quality control.
